Embark on an unforgettable 3-day chimpanzee trekking safari, an immersive experience in Uganda’s pristine wilderness. This short yet adventurous trip is ideal for primate enthusiasts and nature lovers, offering a chance to observe these intelligent primates in their natural habitat.

    Day 1: Arrival and Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park
    Morning: Depart from Kampala or Entebbe and drive to Kibale Forest National Park, renowned for its high concentration of primates. Afternoon: Stop for lunch in Fort Portal, a scenic town with views of the Rwenzori Mountains. Evening: Arrive at your lodge near the park. Relax, enjoy dinner, and prepare for the trek.
    Activities:
    • Scenic drive with stops for photography.
    • Optional visit to Bigodi Wetlands for birdwatching and community tours (if time allows).
    • Accommodation: Budget, midrange, or luxury lodge near Kibale Forest.
    Day 2: Chimpanzee Trekking in Kibale Forest
    Morning: Early breakfast, then proceed to the park headquarters for a briefing. Trekking: Spend 2–4 hours tracking chimpanzees with experienced guides. Observe their playful behaviors, grooming rituals, and interactions. Afternoon: Return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation. Optional Activity: Visit the Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary for a guided walk to spot other primates, birds, and local flora.

    • Chimpanzee trekking experience.
    • Optional Bigodi Wetlands walk or cultural tours.
    • Accommodation: Same lodge as Day 1.
    Day 3: Return to Kampala/Entebbe
    Morning: Leisurely breakfast and a chance to enjoy the serene surroundings. Optional Activity: Take a short nature walk or visit the local community before departure. Afternoon: Drive back to Kampala or Entebbe, with a lunch stop en route. Arrive in the evening.
    Activities:
    • Scenic return drive with optional stops for souvenirs or photography.
